As the Christmas season approaches, we look forward to the opportunity to take a break and enjoy time with family and friends. We can take time to reflect on the year that was and be grateful for all that we have.
In the true spirit of Christmas, let's support those who are helping those less fortunate. Bring a donation for the Mayor's Giving Tree by bringing unwrapped gifts for children (0-12 years), gift vouchers for teens (13-17 years), or non-perishable food items.
Mayor Matt Gould will be there to share with us why he started the giving tree and what he hopes to achieve with it. We'll also hear how the organisations go about distributing the gifts and the difference it makes to those families.
